Lesson 5: At what temperature should sake be served?

Updated: Mar 13, 2021

It depends on what kind of sake you're drinking. Earthy sakes with fuller flavors and mild aromas are good candidates to be served at a warmer temperature while fruity, stronger fragrant sakes are more suitable to be drank chilled. In general, avoid heating sake over 50 degrees Celsius and avoid chilling sake below 10 degrees Celsius.
